Dewtron Bass Pedals

Very rare Dewtron Bass Pedal Kontakt Collection as used by Mike Rutherford from Genesis until The Lamb Laid Down on Broadway album. Many people think he used the Taurus Bass Pedals which he did starting with Trick of the Tail.

These BASS pedals haven't been available since the early 70s. The company offered them as a homemade DIY kit for organ enthusiasts who didn't have BASS pedals for their organ. They were simply one complete octave (13 notes) and the keys were these strange looking bars.

But they worked and they sound wonderful. That long A note during Cinema Show is an example of the thunder of these pedals (a side note, this is the longest bass pedal note on any recording that I have heard, perhaps the world's record).

Each note of the DEWTRONS was sampled for over 2 minutes. There was an octave switch and a tuning knob so, you will get more than 2 octaves of BASS PEDAL notes. These samples are wonderful and demos to soon follow.
